TrustRadius Mobile Proxies for Vendor Review and TrustMap Monitoring

TrustRadius publishes long-form, verified reviews of business software and ranks products on TrustMaps that plot buyer satisfaction against research frequency. Vendors claim their product profile, respond to reviews, run review campaigns among their own customers and, on paid tiers, see which companies are researching them. Much of the site is the same everywhere, but not all of it: pricing displays, some sponsored placements and the research-frequency signal itself depend on who is looking from where, and US buyers are the audience most vendors care about. Dedicated Mobile Proxies gives a vendor, or the agency it hired, a US carrier modem that carries only their traffic, so the view is a US buyer's view and the vendor account keeps one stable origin.

What a US reading changes on TrustRadius

Product profiles show the overall score, the review count, pros and cons pulled from reviews, pricing where the vendor supplied it, and an alternatives block listing competitors. Category pages show the TrustMap and a ranked list with sponsored entries. Some of these elements vary with the visitor's region, and the research-frequency axis of the TrustMap is built from actual visits, so where visitors come from is part of the data.

A reading from a US carrier address is a reading as a US buyer. Our modems hold AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon SIMs in eight US metros; each carrier address resolves to its metro. A vendor in another country, or one checking from a cloud server, sees a slightly different site and contributes nothing sensible to the research signal. The modem fixes both.

Monitoring your own profile and reviews

TrustRadius reviews are long and verified, which means they arrive slowly and are removed when verification fails. The routine is to open your product profile from the modem each day and record the score, the review count, the most recent review, and the alternatives block. Open your category page and record your TrustMap position and the ranked list with its sponsored entries. One modem, same hour, every day.

Vendors run review campaigns among their real customers through TrustRadius's own tools, and that is the only legitimate way to grow the count. Writing reviews yourself, or paying for reviews outside the platform's programme, gets the profile flagged. The modem is for reading, not for writing.

Competitor pages and the alternatives block

Every competitor's profile is public: score, review count, pricing if supplied, the pros and cons summary, and which products TrustRadius lists as alternatives. The alternatives block on your own profile is worth watching closely, because it is where a buyer reading about you is sent next. Record who appears there from the US modem over a month. Read a few pages a day, like a buyer doing research, and never scrape the site in bulk; its terms forbid it and the work does not need it.

The vendor portal and intent data

The vendor portal holds review-campaign tools, response drafts, and on paid tiers the intent data showing which organisations visited your profile. It is sensitive, and TrustRadius treats unfamiliar logins accordingly. An agency managing several vendors' portals, with permission, from one office network, or a marketing lead signing in from home and from conferences, meets verification prompts. Putting the portal login on your modem gives it one origin, one carrier, one city, an address held as long as the carrier keeps it, and nobody else on the modem to disturb it.

Unrelated vendors managed by one agency should sit on separate modems. Monthly plans are $69 on 4G and $79 on 5G with unlimited data; a two-hour test at $2 or $3 confirms the setup first.

The routine

Order a modem in any of our US metros, most vendors pick New York. Route a browser profile through it for everything TrustRadius. Record your profile and category figures daily, record the alternatives block and your main competitors, and sign in to the vendor portal from the same profile with the address left alone. Rotation is available on every plan but is not wanted for this work. One vendor, one modem, one address, read at the same hour each day: that is the entire method.

Setting up a TrustRadius proxy on Dedicated Mobile Proxies

  1. Order a modem in a US metro and choose a carrier.
  2. Route a browser profile through the modem for all TrustRadius work.
  3. Record your profile score, reviews and alternatives block daily.
  4. Record your category TrustMap position and the sponsored entries.
  5. Sign in to the vendor portal from the same profile and keep it sticky.

TrustRadius proxy questions

Does TrustRadius show a different site to US visitors?

Parts of it: pricing displays, some placements, and the research-frequency signal come from where visitors are. A US carrier address gives the US buyer's view.

Can the modem speed up reviews?

No. Reviews come from verified customers through TrustRadius's own programme. The modem gives you an accurate count.

Should I rotate the address?

Not for monitoring or portal work. Keep it fixed so the series is clean and the login origin stays stable.

Which metro should a vendor choose?

Any of the eight. New York is the common choice for a general US reading.
