Verizon dedicated mobile proxies: the modem is yours for the term

A Verizon plan from Dedicated Mobile Proxies is a modem, router or Android phone in one of our US facilities with a Verizon subscriber SIM inside it, used by you and by no one else for as long as you keep it. Verizon is the carrier with the broadest reputation among US consumers, and its addresses carry that reputation to websites. It also has the most spread-out geolocation of the three. This page sets out both honestly, along with where we keep Verizon hardware, how its sessions behave and how to run a Verizon line without surprises.

What a Verizon address says about itself

Verizon Wireless announces its mobile ranges under autonomous system AS22394, with some older blocks still under AS6167. A lookup returns Verizon Wireless as the owner and a cellular connection type, and it is the same range Verizon handsets use. Behind each public address are many Verizon subscribers on carrier-grade NAT, so a website sees traffic from an address that real customers are also using and judges it on behaviour rather than on the number.

Your modem and its SIM are not shared with anyone. The traffic through that radio is yours, the session history is yours and the rotation decisions are yours. The shared part ends at Verizon's gateway, and that is the part that makes the address a mobile address in the first place.

The geolocation spread, stated plainly

Verizon routes mobile traffic through a smaller number of large regional gateways than the other carriers, and the geolocation databases place its addresses accordingly. A Verizon modem in one of our cities can show an address that databases locate a few hundred miles away, in another city of the same region, and the reading can change after a rotation. The state is usually right; the city is right less often than with AT&T or T-Mobile. In Boston, Verizon is the carrier that reads as Boston, which is useful because AT&T there reads as New York.

If a city-level reading is essential to your work, buy an hourly block first, $2 on 4G or $3 on 5G for two hours, rotate a few times and look up each address. If the readings cluster where you need them, buy the term. If they do not, order T-Mobile or AT&T in that city instead; the hourly block is small money and the only way to know for sure.

Where we keep Verizon hardware

Verizon devices are in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Miami, North Carolina and Boston, on 4G LTE and 5G, with stock varying by city and device type as shown at checkout. Phones are the device type most often requested on Verizon, because some customers want the carrier's handset behaviour rather than a modem's, and both are available where stock allows. Verizon's 5G in our metros is a mix of low-band and mid-band, so the 5G reading varies more by location than T-Mobile's; 4G lines usually run 20 to 45 Mbps and 5G 50 Mbps and up where mid-band is present.

Sessions and rotation on Verizon

Verizon holds a data session for as long as the modem maintains it, which makes long sticky sessions easy. On rotation the modem re-registers and the gateway assigns another address from the regional pool; because Verizon's pools are large and regional, you may see more distinct addresses over a day than on the other carriers, but you will also see the geolocation move around for the reason given above. Rotation is unlimited, by dashboard, link, API, timer or hand, and only you can trigger it on your modem.

Running a Verizon line

Treat a Verizon line as a state-level address unless your hourly test showed otherwise, and set the browser profile's time zone to the modem's actual city rather than to the database reading, since the carrier's own records put the SIM where the modem is. Keep signed-in work sticky. Rotate between batches of signed-out work. If the reading in one city does not suit you, the move between our cities is free and keeps your remaining time. Credentials are in the dashboard at desk.dedicatedmobileproxies.com straight after payment, and a person answers support by email and through the Telegram bot around the clock.

Verizon proxy questions

Why does my Verizon address show a different city?

Verizon's regional gateways make databases place addresses a few hundred miles from the modem. The state is usually right; test with an hourly block if the city matters.

Is Verizon the right choice in Boston?

Yes. Verizon addresses there read as Boston, whereas AT&T addresses in Boston read as New York.

Is the modem shared?

No. One Verizon SIM in one device, carrying your traffic only, for the whole term.

Does Verizon 5G match T-Mobile 5G?

It varies more by location. Where mid-band is present it runs 50 Mbps and up; elsewhere it reads closer to a 4G line.
